TAKE YOUR DANCING

TO THE NEXT LEVEL

JOIN TEAM BRAVO

Are you an adrenaline junkie? Do you love the thrill of being in front of a crowd? Then dancesport might be for you!  Dancesport is the competitive side of ballroom and latin dancing. This is where the dancing gets serious.... and seriously exciting. Hone your skills in lessons with our super professionals, take coaching with amazing national and world champions and judges, travel to competitions and compete against other amateur dancers just like you. You don't need a partner to compete - we have dancesport opportunities for everyone!

Already dancesport savvy? At Bravo Dance Studio, we coach and compete in both American and International styles, from newcomer through open/championship levels. We offer pro-am and am-am opportunities at all levels. Our students compete in NDCA competitions for the pro-am team, and USA Dance competitions for the am-am team, to ensure the highest level of competition and credibility. Guest coaches and choreographers -- including David Hamilton, Igor and Polina Pilipenchuk, Timothy Mason, and Donald Johnson -- are regularly invited into the studio to continually improve the level of our competitors.

PRO-AM DANCESPORT

Pro-Am is short for Professional - Amateur, and this means a professional (like one of our awesome instructors) dances with an amateur dancer (like yourself) in competition. It's just like "Dancing with the Stars"! Join Team Bravo, and travel with us to fun and exciting competitions to dance against other Pro-Am couples. All competitions are organized by both age and skill level, so you'll always be dancing against other amateurs about your same age and experience. And we go to some of the most interesting places! -- Miami, Chicago, Nashville, Baltimore, Kansas City, Atlanta... just to name a few.

AM-AM DANCESPORT

Am-Am is a short term for Amateur - Amateur, and refers to 2 students dancing together -- husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, or simply 2 friends taking lessons and competing together. Amateur couples dance against other students their own age and skill level at competitions organized by USA Dance, the national organization for amateur dancers. By successfully competing at qualifying events, Am-Am couples will even have the opportunity represent Louisville and Bravo Dance Studio at USA Dance Nationals each spring.
