Wednesday Beginner Dance Classes Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, 50 minutes each Every Wednesday brings a different beginner-friendly dance, so you can drop in for one or keep coming back for more. These classes are made for adults who want a simple, relaxed introduction to ballroom, Latin, and swing. No partner required. Wednesday, June 3 at 7:00 PM Polka Class Get ready to bounce! Polka is one of the liveliest, most joyful dances you'll ever try — fast, upbeat, and impossible to do without smiling. In this beginner class, you'll pick up the signature hop-step rhythm and easy traveling patterns that make Polka such a crowd-pleaser at weddings and celebrations. It's a little bit of a workout and a whole lot of fun. No experience or partner needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or trainers for comfort and safety. Wednesday, June 10 — No Class We're taking this Wednesday off. See you back on the floor June 17! Wednesday, June 17 at 7:00 PM Merengue Class If you've ever wanted to dance Latin but worried it was too complicated, this is the perfect place to start. Merengue is the easiest Latin dance there is — built on a simple marching rhythm almost anyone can pick up in a single evening. In this beginner class, you'll learn the basic step, the hip motion, and the playful turns that make Merengue a staple at every Latin party. No experience or partner required — just come ready to have a great time! Wednesday, June 24 at 7:00 PM Tango Class Sharp, dramatic, and unforgettable — Tango is the most theatrical dance in the ballroom world. Behind all that intensity is a basic step that's more approachable than it looks, and learning it is seriously satisfying. In this beginner class, you'll discover the signature staccato timing, strong frame, and confident attitude that make Tango a true showstopper. No experience or partner needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or trainers for comfort and ease of movement on the floor.
