Beginner Salsa Class

Service Description

THE CLUB IS NOT WHERE YOU LEARN THIS Beginner Salsa Class Wednesday, Oct 28 | 7:00 PM | 50 min | $12/person Here is how most people meet Salsa. A loud venue, a song already at full speed, somebody kind pulling them onto the floor, and forty-five seconds of pure confusion before they retreat to the bar and decide they are not a Salsa person. That is not a talent problem. That is trying to read in the dark. Salsa is six steps over a count of eight. Quick, quick, slow, then the same thing going the other way. In a quiet room at a sane tempo, that pattern is the first thing you get. From there it is turns, and the turns are the fun part. Learn it on a Wednesday. Use it on a Saturday. That order works considerably better than the reverse. October 28, 7:00 PM, Bravo Dance Studio in Louisville. Fifty minutes, $12, no experience.
