Beginner Waltz Class

Service Description

THREE COUNTS AND YOU ARE DANCING Beginner Waltz Class Wednesday, Nov 18 | 7:00 PM | 50 min | $12/person One, two, three. One, two, three. That is not a simplification, that is the dance. Waltz runs on three beats instead of four, which sounds like a small detail and is actually the whole reason it feels different from everything else. The rhythm rocks. There is a rise on two, a fall on three, and once your body catches that pattern the dance starts carrying you instead of the other way around. It is also a dance that keeps turning up without warning. Weddings, anniversaries, holiday parties with an actual band. That makes it a strangely practical thing to know. Wednesday November 18, 7:00 PM, Bravo Dance Studio in Louisville. Fifty minutes, $12, first timers.
