THE GROWN-UP RUMBA Int/Adv Bolero 3-Class Course Sundays, Sept 6, 13 & 20 | 5:30 PM | 50 min | $36 for all three Bolero is the one that finds out whether you actually have technique or just momentum. It's built on the rhythm you already know, then it takes the speed away and adds rise and fall, stretch, and long sweeping lines. There's no tempo to hide behind. Every bit of control you have shows, and so does every bit you don't. That's exactly why it's worth three Sundays. Each week is all new figures and picks up precisely where the last one stopped. Week one gives you the material, week two builds on it, week three puts it together so it holds up on a social floor and not just in the corner where you drilled it. Intermediate and advanced dancers, some experience required.
